Both companies are registered in the Netherlands. Riel “was the exclusive distributor for North America of up-scale equestrian products manufactured by Kingsland based in Norway, "but “[a]s a result of Defendants’ actions, [he] lost his Kingsland distributorship for North America and incurred millions of dollars in lost profits, merchandise, and goodwill.”
